Pench national park (India 2016)

The forested area is a blend of deciduous forest and tropical moist deciduous forest and is rich with beautiful shrub trees and climbers. Teak, Mahua, Tendu, Bija, Almatas and Paluas all find their home here. Pench's gorgeous landscape is home to a number of endangered species including tigers (they are the most famous).
Those who visit the idyllic forests of the Pench Tiger reserve today, should be aware of the fact that hundreds of people have fought hard battles to protect it from disappearing. Some even lost their lives in the process and the fight is never finished.
